Quark Bundt Cake

This delicious and moist quark cake is a perfect weekend treat. Easy to make with minimum equipment needed.

Ingredients

  • 250g room temperature butter

  • 250g flour

  • 200g  granulated sugar

  • 250g  quark

  • 12g (or one sachet)  baking powder

  • 3 eggs

  • Pinch of salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 °C

  2. Cream butter and sugar together

  3. Whisk in eggs and quark

  4. Sift in flour, salt,  baking powder and mix well (your batter will be stiff and thick)

  5.  Prepare your baking tin (ideally in bundt form, but cake tin will work just as good) with butter and flour to prevent it from sticking

  6. Transfer your cake batter to the tin and bake for approximately 40 minutes. Serve cool
